  The Hills Have Eyes (1972)
March 16 ,2006

Hot on the heels of Last House On The Left, Wes Craven delivers The Hills Have Eyes. Although not my favorite Wes Craven film, The Hills Have Eyes does manage some moments of intensity and a lean and direct story told with the help of the aforementioned forboding hills. Location, location, location...plus we get an early Dee Wallace, The Howling, appearance. Good Stuff. (more)
All Souls Day: Dia De Los Muertos (2005)
Feb17, 2006
Anchor Bay's release of All Souls Day: Dia De Los Muertos has made it to DVD after first being aired on the Sci Fi Channel. Featuring the latest in zombie entertainment, All Souls Day rides the zombie wave with the help of Herbert West himself, Jeffery Combs. Can Mr. Combs raise the game of this horror indie, does it fizzle or go down in flames? (more)
Venom (2005)
Feb 17, 2006
From the creator of the Scream trilogy, the Uber lame I Know What You Did Last Summer and yes...Dawson's Creek, comes another horror entry from Kevin Williamson. This time he gets a producer credit and my thanks for not forgetting us horror fans. Mix a few teenagers, a voodoo priestess, a tow truck driver, and the Louisiana swamps and you get... (more)
Waiting (2005)
Feb 16, 2006
Don't mess with the people who serve you your food because you will get "served". Waiting is gross out comedy flick from writer/director Rob McKittrick. Taking place in a 24hr period we are given a hiliarious behind the scenes view of what it's like to wait on other people. Featuring the comedic talents of Ryan Reynolds, Dane Cook, Andy Milonakis and (more)
The Fog (2005)
Feb 16, 2006
Another remake for to enjoy...yea right. The Fog trys to tackle the John Carpenter's 80's classic by the same name. Smallville's Tom Willing and Lost's Maggie Grace take on the lead roles with a little help from Selma Blair reprising the Adrienne Barbeau role. Is it a winner or does it just get lost in the fog of other failed remakes? (more)
Tower of Evil (1972)
Feb 15, 2006
Mystery, murder and mayhem are the feature attraction in Jim O'Connolly's Tower of Evil. An aggresive, drug laced, no holds barred horror entry from the early 70's. Tower of Evil sports more skin and drug use than a Heidi Fleiss and Charlie Sheen get together. They Came. They Say. They Died. What more can we ask for? (more)
